Marysa Williams, Psy.D.

Dr. Williams is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her Clinical Psychology Doctorate (PsyD) from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Williams’ education also includes a Masters degree (MA) in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School and a Bachelors degree (BS) in Psychology from The Ohio State University. 

  • Dr. Williams’ clinical experience includes community mental health and outpatient intervention with children, adolescents, parents, and families. Although Dr. Williams has provided treatment services to individuals and families presenting a variety of mental health concerns, Dr. Williams has a special area of interest in assisting individuals in their recovery from trauma and adversity and she is passionate about working with parents who have postpartum and perinatal mood and anxiety concerns

Dr. Williams provides psychological assessment and therapeutic services to children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families exhibiting a diversity of emotional and behavioral health concerns, including but not limited to depression, self-esteem, anger, anxiety, divorce, adjustment disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder/ trauma, ADHD, learning disorders, behavioral disorders, and parent/caregiver consultation. 

  • Dr. Williams is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT.)  She has received training, supervision, and consultation in the treatment modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).  She is trained in Perinatal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International.  Overall, Dr. Williams strives to build hope and resilience in youth and families, while working collaboratively and fostering independence so that her clients no longer need the support of therapy. 
  • Appropriate referrals for Dr. Williams include children ages 2-17 with the requirement of parent involvement in treatment, and adults ages 18 and older

Meredith Millward, M.Ed., LPCC-S

Meredith Millward is a licensed professional clinical counselor who received her Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Meredith’s education also includes a Bachelors degree (BS) in Psychology from Kent State University with a minor focus of American Sign Language. 

  • Meredith’s clinical experience includes community mental health and outpatient intervention with children, adolescents, individuals, parents, and families. Although Meredith has provided treatment services to individuals and families presenting a variety of mental health concerns, Meredith has a special area of interest in assisting adolescents, adults, and families improve their lives. Areas of clinical excellence include anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery. Her preferred clinical interventions include providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT.).

She is motivated to provide concrete tools and interventions in order to provide you with the most benefit from services, with the intention of giving you the skills you need in order to eliminate dependence on therapy support services.

Jordan Breedlove, M.Ed., LPCC-S

Jordan Kester is a licensed professional clinical counselor who received her Master of Education (M. Ed.) from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Jordan’s education also includes a Bachelors degree (BA) in Psychology and Minors in Child Development and Family Development from The University of Akron.

  • Jordan’s clinical experience includes community mental health and outpatient intervention with children, adolescents, individuals, parents, families, and groups. Her preferred clinical interventions include providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Jordan’s priority is providing effective counseling services which reflect the highest quality of therapeutic interventions. She is determined to aid individuals in learning and adapting traditional coping skills to fit into their own lifestyle. Jordan believes that creativity in coping skills is an important contributor to utilizing skills outside of session and, ultimately, no longer needing therapeutic services. 

  • Jordan has received training in diagnostic assessments and therapeutic services, ranging from self-esteem to anger, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, stress management, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Modalities of treatment in which Jordan aligns are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Catherine (Katie) LaBar is a licensed professional clinical counselor who received her Master of Education (M. Ed.) from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Katie’s education also includes a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Psychology with a Minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice from The Ohio State University.

  • Katie’s ambition is to offer a variety of evidence based interventions to address your individual needs. She has found that the most important aspect of the counseling process is often the relationship she establishes with her client, with the goal of providing them with the skills to decrease the need for ongoing therapy support. Katie has a special interest in helping individuals to resolve trauma and build resilience.

Katie is trained in diagnostic assessments and therapeutic services, with experience ranging from anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder/trauma to behavioral disorders, and anger. Katie is highly experienced in the use of clinical interventions such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

  • Katie specializes in being an active and empathic listener. She works with a dedicated focus to help her clients achieve and sustain a high quality of mental health.

Katie’s clinical experience includes community mental health and outpatient intervention with children, adolescents, individuals, families, and groups. Katie has worked with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Kara Kimevski is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Master of Education (M. Ed.) from Malone University in Canton, Ohio.  Kara’s education also includes a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Psychology from Kent State University and a Master's in Forensic Psychology from Northcentral University.  Kara’s clinical experience includes community mental health and outpatient intervention with children, adolescents, individuals, parents, families, and groups. Her preferred clinical intervention includes providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Kara’s priority is providing effective counseling services which reflect the highest quality of therapeutic interventions. Kara is an active listener and is empathic with her clients. She also strives to aid individuals in learning and adapting traditional coping skills to fit into their own lifestyle.   Kara has received training in diagnostic assessments and therapeutic services, ranging from self-esteem to anger, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, stress management, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She has also received training in Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid.  A Modality of treatment in which Kara aligns is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT.)  Appropriate referrals for Kara include individuals ages 12 and older.
